Dentistry & Oral Surgery 
     
At Cordova Veterinary Hospital we are fully trained and equipped to perform many specialized dentistry and oral surgery procedures.  Our dedicated dental suite is fully equipped with high-speed dental equipment, digital dental radiography, anesthesia and anesthetic monitoring equipment. 

We routinely perform all types of dental procedures and oral surgery including teeth cleaning, extractions, oral tumor removal, endodontic (root canal) therapy, jaw fracture repair, orthodontic therapy and tooth resotration including crowns.

Dr. Gates has been studying veterinary dentistry since her graduation, when she worked with one of the first veterinary dental specialists in the U.S.  She has been a member of the American Veterinary Dental Society since 1990, and continues to attend seminars and labs to increase her expertise in dental surgery.  In addition, she has successfully completed two Masters Levels Courses at the Animal Dental Training Center in Baltimore in restorations, oral surgery and orthopedics.
